BzzAgent: Gillette Venus & Olay Razor Review

So it's been awhile since I did a post on a box. What is Tasha without boxes? That's where my BzzAgent box comes in. Now this isn't a subscription box. I got this product for free to review and talk about. If you want to learn more about it, please check it out.

After having signed up for some time, I finally got asked to join the Gillette Venus & Olay Razor Campaign. I was super excited to try this because I'm a Gillette fan. Lately I've been using disposables just because it's gotten expensive to shave. Sometimes to save money, I don't shave for a long time and just wear long skirts and pants more often. Now my legs are nice and smooth thanks to this razor.

Here is the first look at inside of the box. I have to admit, it was bigger than I thought it would be. It was just the way that the product is packaged though. It was all very glittery looking.

This is what it said, "Exfoliates for surface skin renewal and helps replenish skin's moisture."

So it's not only supposed to give you a good shave but it's supposed to keep your legs from becoming dry. This is a plus for me because I have really dry skin. After I shower, I always have to put lotion on because it's pretty noticeable.

The razor itself is pretty standard for a Gillette razor. The cartridge is big because it has the Olay Moisture Bar. Know that I woke up at 7 in the morning to test this after working till 11 at night. So this post is a little late because I needed to get more sleep before having enough brain functionality to do this post.

First of all, I really like this. It is better than any of their previous razors and I've practically tried them all including the disposable ones. The shave is very smooth. My first leg went shaved without any problems. My second leg started to feel a bit of razor burn though. It wasn't too bad though. I didn't use any shaving cream which I normally don't go without. The amount of razor burn is minimal compared to what I normally experience.

I love the results! My legs are really smooth and definitely not as dry as they normally are after I shower. I'm still gonna have to put lotion on but it's totally not as bad as it normally is. This is my legs without any lotion on it. Though I have to say, my camera did a good job of making my legs look nice.

I would have to say that the razor did as it said it would. The price is actually not as bad as I thought it would be. Razors tend to be pricy so price would be the only thing that would make me hesitant to buy them. But I'm probably gonna get replacement cartridges when the time comes to shave again.

Did you try the Gillette Venus and Olay Razor? What did you think? Share your thoughts with me!

    1. Thank you for visiting! Yeah, that's the only issue I always have with razors, is dry skin. This one is actually really great for keeping your skin moisturized.

  2. Nice! Moisture strips are great and these don't look too large and awkward. Will have to try this one.

    1. If you do, let me know what you think. At first, I thought it would be a little unwieldy but it worked great.
